Prayer:

Prayer is a way for us to join our hearts together and lift up our joys and concerns to our Lord.  Please join Faithworks in prayer on a regular basis.  You may have gone on a Faithworks trip, you may know someone involved in Faithworks, or you may just have a desire to be a part of this exciting work!  Not everyone can go on a Faithworks mission trip or join the Faithworks Committee, but you can all be an active part of Faithworks through prayer. 

This page has regular updates on various items that need prayer, both for Faithworks as a whole, and for individual teams that are being sent out. 

Thanksgivings!

Faithworks has so much to be thankful for!  Join us in thanking our God for:

• Placing a desire in the hearts of people to join Faithworks mission trips!

• Providing Faithworks with different organizations that we can work with in various countries.

• Changing the hearts and lives of Faithworks participants, so that “mission” becomes not a one-time event, but a lifestyle of service.

Requests:

Faithworks Leadership

• For our committee - for wisdom, endurance, excitement, and time to do this important work.

• That God will give trip leaders the strength and wisdom they need as they prepare with their teams and as they go on their various trips.

Faithworks Mission Trips

• Pray for God to work in the hearts of team members.  May each person be a shining example of Christ's love to whoever God places in their paths!

• Pray for the people and organizations Faithworks works with—for SWAP in Kentucky, Jeremy Van Beelen and his work at Dulce Refugio in Mexico, and for the group in Mississippi.

Kentucky

For our recent Kentucky team.  That God would help them find places to serve in their home environments and that they would stay strong and remember that they are "the LORD's"!

Mexico

For the Mexico team as they prepare for their trip in October 2008.

Future of Faithworks

• Pray for new opportunities for Faithworks in Canada - local ministries to work with.

• For future committee members - that God would work in people’s hearts a desire to serve in this area of missions.
